Michael Grant #17

Since I began this novel during the first week in January and during the loss of power and water in February I wrote part of "No... it's raining" in longhand, on a yellow pad, like in the olden days (grin).

You might also wonder with the freezing temps, snow and burst pipes, why the title wasn't: 'No... it's freezing!' But read the back page blurb for a few clues.

Truth is, the characters are in charge of titles, time, and place and action. I'm just writing down what they are doing and saying. And even thought the arc of the novel takes place over winter the characters were more concerned with and complaining about the cold winter rain... which did end up turning to ice, sleet and snow.

On my first readers said: "This is one of your best!" I hope you will enjoy it also.
