On Tuesday of this week, I got a text from SuperFan Alan Steacy with this picture and the text bubble: "Lookie what I got... You Have To Believe Me!"
I believe you! I see the proof!
Always the punster he turned the ordinary: 'Hey, I got my copy of your latest book, "You Have To Believe Me", into lively brevity. Not my long suit... as I am fond of saying: "I was not stung by the bee of brevity."
That said, thank you Alan very much for sending me this self-captioned photo. Inquiring minds want to know, did you intentionaly wear that blue t-shirt to match your eyes or the cover of the book?
Thanks again for your being a Michael Grant SuperFan, whose has read all his novels! And for contributing your name to the character of "Detective Alan Steacy". Any actions or thoughts of the character "Detective Alan Steacy" cannot be attributed to the living breathing Alan Steacy... and most likely would be publicly disavowed if the opportutniy presented itself.
For example, when in MG&A book #33 Bullets In-Vane, Det. Steacy was wounded and hostpitalized, the real Mrs. Steacy said... "That's not nice."
