Jane Covington stands between her husband's framed law enforcement patches and my poem, both installed yesterday, June 18th at the Circle Grill. A Dallas institution, the Circle Grill has for decades been a 'haunt' and a go to place for a meal or a cup of coffee for officers on-duty and off.

It's is hoped that the framed patches and the poem will foster respect among citizens

for the job they ask law enforcement to do on their behalf.

This is 'acrylic print' of the poem:

Well Done Robert! And, thanks to Jane for her contribution of her husband's patches as a reminder to all those who willingly volunteer to Serve and Protect us. Steve Hodel, Los Angeles
